Our Story

Starlux began its journey in 2004 as Starlux Illumination, a lighting company dedicated to brightening businesses across the region. But like many successful companies, our story is one of evolution, adaptation, and recognizing opportunity where others see challenge.

In the early 2010s, while working closely with our business clients, we noticed a growing concern that would reshape our entire company direction. Businesses were struggling with cybersecurity threats and needed more secure, locked-down computer systems. What started as helping a few clients with their technology challenges quickly revealed a much larger market need.

Recognizing this opportunity, we expanded our services to include computer solutions while maintaining our core lighting business. By the mid-2010s, we had further diversified by adding wireless phone services to our portfolio, serving our community's growing connectivity needs until 2019.

Then came 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic fundamentally changed how businesses operate, accelerating the digital transformation across every industry. Companies needed reliable, secure IT infrastructure more than ever before. We saw the writing on the wall and made a bold decision: we eliminated our lighting and phone inventory and committed entirely to what our clients needed most— IT support.

This pivot proved to be exactly the right move. In May 2023, we officially renamed our company to Starlux IT, reflecting our complete dedication to providing managed IT services that help businesses thrive in an increasingly digital world.
